1. General information
Based on Article 13 of the Swiss Federal Constitution and the data protection provisions of the Confederation (Data Protection Act, DSG), every person has the right to protection of their privacy and to protection against misuse of their personal data. We comply with these provisions. Personal data is treated as strictly confidential and is neither sold nor passed on to third parties. In close cooperation with our hosting providers, we strive to protect the databases as well as possible against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or falsification.
2. Data processed
We process various categories of data about our website visitors and customers. The types of data processed include: master data (name, address, contact details), contract data (services, terms, conditions), usage data (visited web pages, access times, click behaviour), meta and communication data (IP addresses, timestamps, browser information). This data is only processed within the scope of the legal provisions and for the purposes described in this statement.
3. Hosting & servers
This website is hosted by Netlify. The provider is Netlify, Inc., 2325 3rd Street, Suite 215, San Francisco, California 94107, USA. When accessing our web pages, the following data is stored in log files: IP address, date and time of the request, time zone difference to Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), content of the request (specific page), access status/HTTP status code, the amount of data transferred in each case, the website from which the request comes, as well as information about the browser and operating system. This usage data forms the basis for statistical, anonymous evaluations, so that trends can be identified on the basis of which we can improve our offers accordingly.
4. SSL encryption
To protect the security of your data during transmission, we use state-of-the-art encryption procedures via HTTPS. Data transmission between your browser and our server is encrypted using SSL/TLS technology. You can recognise this by the lock symbol in your browser bar.
5. Cookies & tracking
Our website uses cookies. Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device. We use two types of cookies: technically necessary cookies that are required for the operation of the website (e.g. cookie consent settings), and analytics cookies for analysing user behaviour (Google Analytics 4). You can adjust your cookie preferences at any time via our cookie banner. Technically necessary cookies are set automatically. For analytics cookies we obtain your consent in advance.
6. Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service of Google Ireland Limited ("Google"). Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to analyse the use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. We have activated IP anonymisation, whereby your IP address is shortened by Google within member states of the EU or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area beforehand. We use Google Analytics in consent mode, i.e. Google Analytics is only activated after your explicit consent. You can revoke your consent at any time via the cookie settings.
7. Contact form & email
If you contact us via the contact form or email, your details (name, email address, message content) are stored by us in order to process your enquiry and for possible follow-up questions. This data is only used with your consent and only for the purpose of processing your enquiry. The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected, but at the latest after the statutory retention periods have expired.
8. Your rights
You have the right at any time to information about your personal data stored by us, its origin and recipients as well as the purpose of the data processing. You also have the right to rectification, deletion, restriction of processing, revocation of your consent as well as the right to data portability. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or that your data protection rights have been infringed in any other way, you can lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
9. Changes
We reserve the right to amend this privacy policy at any time, taking into account the applicable data protection regulations. The current version is published on our website. In the event of fundamental changes, we will inform you accordingly.
